With over 23 years’ experience in HR and Employment Law, Julie Dawson is a trusted and well-respected HR Consultant based in Leeds, supporting SMEs across Yorkshire with practical, people-centred solutions.

After achieving her CIPD Advanced Certificate in Employment Law in 2002, Julie has built a career helping employers navigate complex HR challenges with confidence. Before moving into consultancy, she held senior management roles across finance, customer service, sales, housing and retail, giving her a rare ability to see every issue from both the employer’s and employee’s perspective.

Julie’s approach is hands-on, proactive, and commercial. She doesn’t believe in simply telling clients what to do — she works alongside them to get things done. Whether she’s resolving employee relations matters, reviewing policies, or guiding business owners through a disciplinary process, Julie is known for her calm professionalism, responsiveness, and clear, pragmatic advice.
