Amber Kukic, Group Management Accountant

With a strong background in accounting and experience across businesses of varying sizes, Amber brings a practical, analytical approach to her role as Group Management Accountant.

She began her career at Rolls-Royce, where she worked alongside completing her Accounting studies through evening classes. After moving to Leicester, she continued to build her experience across a range of organisations, from larger established businesses to growing companies. Her career has even included working with the creators of the MEATER smart meat thermometer – a name that may be familiar to keen cooks and BBQ enthusiasts!

Over the years, Amber has discovered that she particularly enjoys working within smaller, friendly businesses where she can make a genuine difference. She values being part of a close-knit team, getting to know the people she works with and having the opportunity to understand how the business operates as a whole.

In her role, she enjoys the detail and problem-solving side of finance, with a particular love for Excel, reconciliations and investigative projects. She takes a thorough and inquisitive approach to her work, enjoying the process of getting to the bottom of the numbers and finding answers to the questions that arise along the way.

Outside of work, Amber can often be found behind a microphone as part of a smooth jazz band. When she’s not singing, she enjoys playing netball with friends, keeping her competitive side well and truly alive.
