Human skills are becoming more valuable
Despite concerns around automation, AI is increasing the value of uniquely human skills.
The future workforce will need more than technical knowledge. Employees will need to think critically, communicate effectively, solve problems creatively and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
These skills cannot be replicated by AI and will become increasingly important as technology becomes more embedded in daily work.
For HR professionals, this means early career development programmes should focus not only on technical competence but also on helping employees develop the interpersonal and decision-making skills that organisations need for long-term access.
