impact HR welcomes Juliet Irving as Director of HR Operations

SECTION GUIDE

We’re delighted to announce that Juliet Irving has joined impact HR as our new Director of HR Operations, a senior appointment that marks another major step forward in our national growth journey.

Following our rebrand from Kingswood Group earlier this year, this new leadership role has been created to strengthen the delivery of our HR services and support the continued expansion of our regional teams across the UK.

A strategic role at the heart of our growth

As Director of HR Operations, Juliet will play a pivotal role in shaping how impact HR delivers consistent, high-quality, people-focused HR support across all regions.

She will lead and coach our Regional HR Service Managers and consultancy teams, ensuring that every client – whether in Essex, Leicester, Leeds or London, experiences the same excellent standard of service that defines impact HR.

Her remit covers operational strategy, service performance, quality assurance, and people development – all key elements in ensuring that impact HR remains a trusted partner to the UK’s SME community.

Working closely with Group CEO Greg Guilford, Juliet will align operational plans with business strategy, embed scalable systems and processes, and help shape a unified culture across our growing team.

“Juliet’s appointment is an important part of our evolution,” said Greg. “Her leadership will bring greater cohesion and consistency to our delivery model, supporting our regional teams as they continue to grow. She’s an exceptional HR professional with deep consultancy experience and a clear understanding of what good looks like for SME clients.”

Experience that makes an impact

With over 19 years’ HR experience, Juliet has worked across both in-house and consultancy environments. After early HR roles in manufacturing and the charity sector, she has spent more than a decade in HR consultancy – managing teams, advising clients on complex employee relations cases, and supporting organisational change programmes.

Her extensive background gives her a practical understanding of the challenges and opportunities SMEs face every day.

Juliet commented “Having worked in HR for almost two decades, I’ve seen first-hand how vital it is for small and medium-sized businesses to have proactive, commercially minded HR support. This role is about helping our consultants and clients to thrive — ensuring our regional teams deliver HR solutions that are not only compliant, but genuinely transformational.”

“Joining impact HR at this stage, just after the rebrand, feels like perfect timing. There is real momentum and ambition here, and I’m excited to contribute to the next chapter.”

  • Driving operational excellence nationwide

    Juliet’s focus will include:

    • Leading Regional HR Service Managers and embedding consistent delivery frameworks across all impact HR offices.
    • Developing performance and quality standards through clear KPIs and service-level agreements.
    • Building consultant capability via structured CPD, coaching and succession planning.
    • Integrating new services and acquired teams as the business continues to expand.
    • Championing continuous improvement through client feedback, innovation and best-practice sharing.

Her leadership will help ensure every client receives the same trusted, practical, and people-first advice, wherever they are based in the UK.

  • A growing national consultancy

impact HR now operates from hubs in Essex, Leicester, Leeds and London, supporting SMEs nationwide with outsourced HR support, change management, investigations, HR projects and HR software solutions.

Our mission remains the same: to deliver HR with real impact, combining compliance and commercial insight with a genuine focus on people.

Juliet’s appointment reinforces that commitment and sets the stage for the next phase of impact HR’s evolution as a leading force in SME HR consultancy.
