Greg Guilford is the Group CEO of impact HR and brings over 20 years of experience leading and shaping people strategies that drive business growth. With a background spanning consultancy, senior HR leadership, and strategic advisory, Greg has worked with SMEs, corporates, and fast-growing organisations to align their people, culture, and operations with long-term success.
Before founding impact HR, Greg spent 17 years as CEO of a national HR consultancy, where he successfully scaled the business, delivered award-winning client service, and led several mergers and acquisitions. His experience gives him a unique perspective on the challenges business leaders face — from compliance and employee relations through to culture, engagement, and leadership development.
At impact HR, Greg combines strategic insight with hands-on pragmatism. He supports leadership teams with organisational design, workforce planning, and HR transformation while ensuring compliance and best practice remain at the core. He is particularly passionate about helping SMEs unlock growth through their people, building scalable systems and cultures that are both resilient and future-focused.
Greg is also active in the wider business community, serving as a Non-Executive Director and advisor to organisations tackling workforce, technology, and growth challenges. He regularly writes and speaks on HR, leadership, and SME strategy, sharing practical insights for business owners and HR professionals alike.
Outside of work, Greg enjoys travelling to new destinations, investing in property, exploring the potential of emerging technologies, and spending time with his family (and two energetic dogs).
